Movement "PROTASI" for another life style

We broadcasted the presentation of our programme “THE GREEN RIVER WHICH FLOWS FROM THE CCO IN PATRAS AND BRINGS ITS MESSAGES TO BOURGAS FOR THE YOUNG PEOPLE IN EUROPE”. (1.2/R3/2008/20)

The presentation took place on Saturday 17/10/09 at 19.30’ (Greek time) at the CCO.

The project

This project concerns a number of environmental interventions which were materialized by the teenagers group of the CCO and a group of students of the IVAN VAZOV School in Bourgas – Bulgaria. Part of this project was funded by the European Commission in the frame of the programme“Youth Initiatives”.

The two groups from Patras and Bourgas are working with the Productive Learning methods and their educators are active members of INEPS (International Network of Productive Schools and Projects, www.ineps.org).

The kids invite you and your students to attend their event (please take care of the difference of time in each country) and they send you also the following messages:

With our actions we want to encourage all young people in Europe to undertake the responsibility for the protection of the environment and sustainable development and also take initiatives for this aim.

We cooperated with other young people from Bourgas because we work together in the Productive Learning projects and we have a lot in common. This cooperation was based on the belief “the more the better” for the dissemination of our messages.

We are anxious about the decisions of the politicians, the power people and the economic interests. The luck of education and real interest for the protection of the environment motivated us to be activated. We communicate, cooperate, learn, we work as volunteers, we produce results.

We use the Information Technologies for our communication, information and access to resources which provide us with real knowledge and not the one which is provided by the T.V.

We assert our right as active citizens to BEAUTY, HEALTH, OPTIMISM FOR OUR FUTURE.
